resell, some of us have gone quiet because there is nothing new to discuss.  Those of us who are not invested don't really care what the stock is doing.  We are curious to see completion results.  And since we do this on a regular basis, we know that at this point in a well new information is rare and we just have to be patient.

Does anyone happen to know what MNLU  paid per acre for their leashold on average? And does anyone happen to have a map of their leasehold? 'd love to see it if you do.

Skip, all I have to do is invest $2.00 in the penny stock and it will fall beyond radar tracking. Everyone will loose all their pennies they have invested. I could have killed the Haynesville Shale by buying stock in CHK when it was below $10 but chose to let NW Louisiana prosper.

Skip, a c-note is much more than I would deal with, I would think that my investment of 10 cents would be enough to render a dry hole.

I for one, I have gained a lot of information from this board was not and is not avaliable by any means other than reading this board. Some of the facts I've found here were in favor of Mainland Resources and some not in favor of Mainland Resources. All & all I would say that the thread is pretty balanced. I like to think that the participants in this ongoing discussion have contributed in such a way that our collaborations have deduced facts and figures that none of us would have ever stumbled across alone. The information contained herein is one of few online resources pertaining to the Haynesville Shale's Pass through Mississippi & its GoM Span. Months worth of research has been compiled and discussed right here on these 43 pages. However; above all, this discussion has been enjoyable and allowed me to run my thoughts by individuals with similar mindsets as well as interest.

I am thankful that such a forum is provided free of charge. Not to mention the almost immediate access to field experts, whether your query relates to geology, sequence stratigraphy, petrophysics, reservoir & production engineering, land-man specifics, or how to mix a good martini.

Naive or not, I've made one poor stock pic that I lost sleep over, but in the long run I'm looking at a return on my money that I never dreamed of. My most notable lesson so far was not to stay away from the info in threads like this, but that the U.S. Energy Information Administration releases an Annual Energy Outlook just prior to the end of the year...

Well said, Jeff! It has been a balanced discussion with plenty of good info to digest. My hope is that all interested and involved have done as much due diligence as they are able to help them form an opinion based on what has been presented and what they have gleaned from their own research.

According to SEC Filings (attached) a Director at American Exploration has been consistently buying AEXP stock at 50,000 shares/day for the last week... 

 

I predict that the merger is closer than it has ever been before...

I believe that Mainland might have made a mistake by releasing core news data without any reserve estimates to back it up... That might have spooked some investors and be why their price per share is less energetic...
