Susie, I have not had that problem. The social network area of the site is down though.

I had a problem a couple of years ago that was similar but it was not on this site. I was running Mozilla at the time and was having problems with both it and AOL. IE did not seem to be affected. I even deleted Mozilla and then realized that there was a problem with my computer. It turned out that there were Registry errors. You might try running a registry check/fix program if you have not done that lately. Hope this helps.

I called another friend of mine who participates on this board using a hotmail address and she can't get on, nor can she even send you a message Keith.

Hotmail works okay for me..

Maybe try deleting old cookies..

I have a hotmail addy associated with my user name here, also both IE and Firefox work fine.

I also use Firefox and a hotmail address and the only thing I can't do is visit another member's page.  I get a message saying the site is under maintenance.

I get the same message and I use Firefox.. I wonder if that is an issue with IE? I don't have IE...

I am running IE. Also, I was always able to open this site through my AOL, but now can only open through IE. I have talked to a couple of others who post on here. Only ones with hotmail are having problems. The site no longer recognizes them, so they can't sign on

Do they (using AOL) have some kind of filter that may be restricting them that can be turned off or may give exception for this site?

that is the message I am getting and I am using yahoo. People I know who are posting on here using hotmail can't sign on.
