Permalink Reply by essay on February 24, 2011 at 10:43 at least it's not dry gas, i tend to agree that texas is generally a friendlier environment for o&g but ohio has put themselves in a better position with the last round of elections.
i'm also not thrilled about the new leasing but like the article said, "[utica shale] may be one of the last big unconventional oil discoveries in the U.S." chesapeake has made this early mover business model work in the past, there's no reason why they can't do it one more time so long as the assets are up to snuff.
