One of them is in A47, which is 2 miles NW of the recently-announced US Forest Service Z Redmond well. It will be north of 103 and east of 1277.

The other two are parallel wells on USFS land in Section A-274, 2 miles east of the big Blackstone A-398 well that came in strong.

What is going on with the leasing, now. What is a good lease price and % in SA County?

I haven't heard anything recently with Encana, but in mid-2010 they were paying about $1500-$2,000/acre.
By going nuts, I just mean that they are suddenly getting permits faster than any other company in San Augustine. Most of their SA wells have come in very strong, so I'm wondering if they may focus more on SA and less on Louisiana.
