I live insoutheast Livingston Parish and have signed with Green Bear to do a seismic survey. I would like to hear any from someone else in the Chalk.

Hello, I am a newbie here so please bare with me! I am a landowner in SW Livingston Parish. My family owns land around I-12 S SW of Livingston. I live in the Colyell community off the S Satsuma Rd. Section 14, Township 7. Range 4 East. Any activity to come to this area? Anyone? Just heard of some ongoing activity 2-3 miles E of this area!! Seismic activity is my understanding. Back on the 90's there was a lot of seismic activity in here w/I about 1/2 mile from my house!!! Any info would be greatly appreciated!! A very large landowner in northern Avoyelles told me he was paid $25 an acre to a seismic survey, and will get 175 an acre for three years if they decide to go forward. His land is along Red River.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
