hi Skip
Our family has an interest in this well. May I ask two questions:
I have noticed the discussions concerning EUR and flow rates but wondered about the choke and details on this well compared to the Hall of Fame and other general stats. I am trying to connect the short term and long term trends. Is the southern Desoto region showing some of the muscle of the coveted northern areas?
Secondly,
I was impressed with Encana and their efficiency. SWEPI is operator. Can you provide the tread to those discussions. Chesapeake is also on our nearby lands and it seems that SWEPI is getting their comeuppance? Oh crud three questions.
What type of other well info like logs etc can be requested from the operator?
Go South Desoto - Pelican yeah!!!!!!
Just Potentially happy! Thanks Lange

Lange, the impression that North DeSoto has better rock than South DeSoto hasn't been wholly accurate for some time. There is variance in the quality of the shale that can not be defined by north or south or any one parish. I am unsure which discussions you are looking for but will give you some search tips and suggest that you ask Les B. your questions about Hall of Fame wells.

Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
