2 suggestions (1)-- talk to the landsman you leased from for update of operator (Lessee) of your minerals plans   (2) Check on RRC of Texas web site and look at map for activity on your survey--- can get help on how to use and look up data on jffree1 RRC of Texas group

San Augustine County

EnCana Oil & Gas completed the Black Stone Unit A-43 Well No. 2H to 18,545 feet 12.1 miles southwest of San Augustine in the Carthage Field. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 8.928 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale

are your minerals in this well? What you list all 3 appears to be same single one well

I really dont know  Im trying to figure all of this out.  yes those 3 are all the same.. just showing info I found on searches so far. :-)   It appears to be almost exactly on our land, though havent visited there in a few years.

Chloe---Go on RRC web site--- look on the drilling permit and you will see P-12 list which list all mineral owner in the well and see if you are there. This may not be final list for operator could add addition contiguous acres if they have them leased to the unit. If you are not listed look at Plat of well and see where you are in relationship to plat

I dont see the drilling permit area.  One area asked me to login.  Not sure who has the lease I guess I need to look around for that and read it closer.  I also found a rowan rig 86 in the same survey and approx same area.   I found permit number on  a different search but it does not list mineral owners.. I'll keep looking thanks for your help

When you look up a W-1 (permit), if you scroll to the bottom of the permit page there will be links to the permit application, the unit plat and P-12.

The A43 unit is pretty much set as to size but I expect that the A47 Unit may increase in size.  A43 Unit is up FM 1266 about 6 miles north of Hwy 103 and A47 Unit is SW of A43 Unit a little over a mile.

Well that helped because I can't find that section yet.  Its not that one so guess I keep looking. That survey is pretty big so I have much to learn.  Thanks again!

Not unless you want to file a well permit (just kidding).  The website does that sometimes and it is just a glitch.  The GIS map, and records queries don't require a password.  Just try it again in a little while.

It did that a few weeks ago and was not accessible for nearly a day so it may be acting up again but I just used the W-1 search and it worked fine.

OK great Thanks!    (lol on the permit comment!  :-)  )

 

I clarified that the lease is with Encana and I know property is on FM 1277 near Goodwin. Spear Creek  runs thru it as well. :-) 

 It is very near to Young Pine Plantation on a old survey map that I have.
