Harrison County

The Bell Oil Well No. 9 will be drilled to 7,000 feet 6.5 miles southeast of Marshall in the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field. GMX Resources will drill this well in the J.B. Campbell Survey, A-148.

Henderson County

The Rudman & Genecov Well No. 1 will be drilled by Shoco Production in a wildcat field 12,000 feet three miles southeast of Antioch in the W.T. Carter Survey, A-178.

Hopkins County

Atmos Energy Corporation, Mid-Tex Division will drill the O38 Well No. 10 to 280 feet 6.7 miles southeast of Hopkins in a wildcat field. This well is in the S.H. Norris Survey, A-689.

Houston County

A wildcat field will see the Broxson Well No. 1 drilled by Burk Royalty to 13,000 feet three miles northeast of Lovelady in the J.J. Thomas Survey, A-84. This well may also be drilled in the Fort Trinidad (Buda) Field, the East Fort Trinidad (Georgetown) Field, the Fort Trinidad (Upper Glen Rose) Field, the Southeast Fort Trinidad (Edwards) Field, the Southwest Fort Trinidad, (Edwards) Field, and the East Fort Trinidad (Edwards - A-, Buda and Edwards) Fields.

Hunt County

Atmos Energy Corp., Mid-Tex Division will drill two wells in a wildcat field to 280 feet. The O16 Well No. 16 is one mile northwest of Commerce in the W.E. Sagle Survey, A-1229.

The O1602 Well No. 2 is 3.2 miles northwest of Commerce in the E. Malloch Survey, A-731.

Johnson County

Chesapeake Operating will drill two wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet. The Chevy Well No. 11H and the Chevy Well No. 12H are 2.4 miles north of Cleburne in the M.A. McNeill Survey, A-566.

The Colonial B Well No. 4H will be drilled by XTO Energy to 12,000 feet 4.7 miles southeast of Burleson in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. The well is in the W. Reece Survey, A-734.

Leon County

Shoco Production will drill the Hailey Heirs Well No. 1 in a wildcat field. The well will hit 7,000 feet 10 miles southwest of Oakwood in the H.W. Sublett Survey, A-779 and may be drilled in the Oakwood (Woodbine) Field or the Oakwood Field.

Basa Resources will drill the Leone Plantation Well No. 9 to 6,500 feet 10 miles southeast of Oakwood in the Oakwood Field. This well is in the E.S. Houston Survey, A-340.

Marion County

STM Oil & Gas will drill seven wells in a wildcat field to 12,000 feet.

The G-1 Well No. 1, the G-1 Well No. 2, the G-9 Well No. 1, the G-1 Well No. 2, and the G-9 Well No. 3 are 4.2 miles north of Jefferson in the R. Hamilton Survey, A-185.

The G-5 Well No. 1 and the G-6 Well No. 1 are 4.2 miles north of Jefferson in the W. Smith Survey, A-352. The wells may also be drilled in the Rodessa (Pettit Upper, Pettit 6800, Travis Peak or Cotton Valley) Fields.

Nacogdoches County

The Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field will see the Gomez SU A Well No. 2HB drilled by Exco Operating to 15,000 feet 4.5 miles southwest of Chireno in the J. Gomez Survey, A-227.

In a lease 1.5 miles northwest of Woden, in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field, the Steve Unit Well No. 1H will be drilled by EOG Resourcesto 14,200 feet in the J.M. Mora Survey, A-827.

EOG Resources will drill the Glaze Unit Well No. 1H and the Glaze Unit Well No. 2H in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. These wells are 5.5 miles southeast of Nacogdoches in the N. De La Cerda Survey, A-14. The No. 1H will hit 14,400 feet and the No. 2H will hit 14,200 feet.

Panola County

Devon Energy will drill the Wallace Unit Well No. 10H to 11,000 feet 11.3 miles southwest of Waskom in the East Bethany (Cotton Valley) Field. The well is in the J. Asher Survey, A-5.

The Pec Minerals Gas Unit No. 3 Well No. 2H will be drilled to 15,700 feet 4.9 miles southeast of DeBerry in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the W. English Survey, A-194.

Maximus Operating will drill the A.R. Gordon Heirs Well No. 1H to 2,600 feet one mile northwest of Joaquin in the Huxley (Fredricksburg) Field. This is in the M. Smith Survey, A-592.

In a lease 4.6 miles southwest of Carthage, in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field, the CGU 8 Well No. 51HH will be drilled by Anadarko E&P to 12,000 feet in the A.M. Witherspoon Survey, A-732.

Robertson County

In a lease 3.2 miles southwest of Franklin, in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, XTO energy will drill the Hawkins Gas Unit Well No. 7 to 15,200 feet in the H.F. Thornton Survey, A-354.

San Augustine County

SM Energy will drill the Marco Well No. 1H to 14,000 feet 3.7 miles northeast of San Augustine in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the J. Bittick Survey, A-55.

Tarrant County

The East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field will see two new wells drilled by Chesapeake Operating to 9,000 feet.

The Centreport South Well No. 1H is 1.6 miles east of Euless in the V.J. Hutton Survey, A-681.

The Rutherford Well No. 1H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the W.N. Ray Survey, A-1353.

In a lease within city limits of Fort Worth, in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field, the Blair East Unit Well No. 1H will be drilled by Quicksilver Resources in the J.A. Creary Survey, A-269.

COMPLETIONS

Freestone County

XTO Energy completed seven wells.

  The Eppes Unit Well No. 12 hit 14,324 one mile northeast of Donie in the Bear Grass Field. On a 16/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.305 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the CottonValley Consolidated.

  The Ham Gas Unit Well No. 32 hit 10,905 feet 3.5 miles southeast of Teague in the Teague Field. On a 24/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.326 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

  The J.A. Gilliam Gas Unit Well No. 22 hit 12,708 feet 6.7 miles southwest of Teague in the Freestone Field. On a 21/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.783 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

  The Roper Gas Unit Well No. 8 hit 12,347 feet 1.3 miles northeast of Teague in the Teague Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.425 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

  The Ham Gas Unit Well No. 33 was drilled to 11,615 feet 3.9 miles southeast of Teague in the Teague Field. On a 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.240 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

  The H.L. & P. Gas Unit Well No. 28 hit 14,359 feet 1.6 miles southwest of Donie in the Bear Grass Field. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.049 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

  The Barnett Gas Unit Well No. 1 was completed to 12,610 feet 3.7 miles southeast of Teague in the Teague Field. The well potentialed 1.807 million cubic feet of gas on a 40/64-inch choke. Production is in the Pettit B formation.

Harrison County

Six wells were completed by GMX Resources in the Carthage Field.

  The Mia Austin Well No. 3H hit 16,525 feet 10.1 miles southeast of Marshall and potentialed 6.468 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke.

  The Mia Austin Well No. 6H hit 17,496 feet ten miles southeast of Marshall and potentialed 8.492 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke.

  The Bosh-Heisman (Allocation) Well No. 17H hit 17,550 feet 8.1 miles southeast of Marshall and potentialed 6.481 million cubic feet of gas on a 18/64-inch choke.

  The Verhalen "A" Well No. 8H hit 17,922 feet eight miles northeast of Marshall and potentiald 6.386 million cubic feet of gas on a 18/64-inch choke.

  The Mercer Well No. 11H hit 16,018 feet 12 miles southeast of Marshall and potentialed 9.538 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke.

  The Bell Well No. 6H hit 17,493 feet 6.6 miles southeast of Marshall and potentialed 8.145 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

The Taylor-Abney-O'Banion (Alloc.) Well No. 14H was completed by Devon Energy to 15,742 feet 3.9 miles southwest of Waskom in the Waskom Field. On a 52/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.625 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Johnson County

Eight new wells were completed by Devon Energy in the East Newark Field.

  The Harris Family LP Well No. 2H hit 10,136 feet 11.3 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 3.543 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The William Howard Well No. 2H hit 13,211 feet 10.8 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 5.150 million cubic feet of gas on a 36/64-inch choke.

  The William Howard Well No. 3H hit 13,120 feet 10.8 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 4.518 million cubic feet of gas.

  The William Howard Well No. 4H hit 13,182 feet 10.8 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 5.901 million cubic feet of gas on a 36/64-inch choke.

  The William Howard Well No. 5H hit 11,268 feet 10.8 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 4.025 million cubic feet of gas on a 24/64-inch choke.

  The Deal Well No. 2H, the Deal Well No. 3H and the Deal Well No. 4H are 11.6 miles northeast of Cleburne.

  The No. 2H hit 10,715 feet and potentialed 3.622 million cubic feet of gas on a 24/64-inch choke.

  The No. 3H hit 10,680 feet and potentialed 2.617 million cubic feet of gas on a 24/64-inch choke.

  The No. 4H hit 10,815 feet and potentialed 2.529 million cubic feet of gas on a 24/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Chesapeake Operating completed 12 wells in the East Newark Field.

  The Jefferess Well No. 1H, the Jefferess Well No. 2H and the Jefferess Well No. 3H are 11.5 miles northeast of Cleburne and were gauged on a.75-inch choke.

  The No. 1H hit 9,415 feet and potentialed 3.969 million cubic feet of gas.

  The No. 2H hit 8,870 feet and potentialed 2.761 milllion cubic feet of gas.

  The No. 3H hit 9,415 feet and potentisaled 2.959 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Parnell Well No. 14H hit 9,955 feet four miles northwest of Cleburne and potentialed 1.416 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.

  The Tantarra Estate Well No. 6H hit 9,156 feet 11.7 miles north of Cleburne and potentialed 2.520 milion cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

  The Lakeview Well No. 3H hit 10,744 feet 4.5 miles southwest of Cleburne and potentialed 1.428 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

The Christian School Well No. 2H and the Christian School Well No. 5H are within the city limits of Cleburne.

  The No. 2H hit 11,659 feet and potentialed 3.489 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

  The No. 5H hit 11,971 feet and potentialed 3.806 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

  The Quail Hollow Well No. 7H hit 11,735 feet within the city limits of Cleburne and potentialed 1.776 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

The Little Hoss Well No. X 5H, the Little Hoss Well No. X 7H and the Little Hoss Well No. X 9H were completed 16.1 miles northwest of Cleburne.

  The No. X 5H hit 10,305 feet and potentialed 1.546 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

  The No. X7H hit 11,370 feet and potentialed 1.708 million cubic feet of gas.

  The No. X 9H hit 11,350 feet and potentialed 1.102 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

The MFG Well No. 2H was completed by XTO Energy in the East Newark Field. This well hit 9,400 feet 4 miles southwest of Burleson. On a 36/48-inch choke the well potentialed 2.311 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Limestone County

The Running Branch Gas Unit Well No. 9 was completed by XTO Energy to 13,606 feet 11.9 miles southeast of Thornton in the Farrar Field in the Cotton Valley Lime formation. This well potentialed 1.576 million cubic feet of gas on a 15/64-inch choke.

Devon Energy completed the Lenamon-Thurman-Jackson C" (SA) Well No. 1H to 16,110 feet 6.2 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the North Personville Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the potentialed 4.624 million cubic feet of gas. This well was completed by Devon Energy in the North Personville Field. Production was in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

Nacogdoches County

In a lease 6.1 miles southwest of Nacogdoches, in the Carthage Field, the Stanaland Trust Unit Well No. 1H was completed by EOG Resources to 19,470 feet. On a 17/64-inch choke the well potentialed 11.476 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

EGO Resources completed the Coffman Unit Well No. 1H to 18,652 feet 1.6 miles northeast of Woden in the Carthage Field. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 6.270 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Navarro County

The Galahad PG PCH Well No. 1 was completed by Foxfire Productions to 900 feet one mile southeast of Powell in the Corsicana Field. This well flowed with .5 barrels of crude, no choke size recorded. Production is in the Shallow.

Panola County

The Chadwick Unit Well No. 7 was completed by Devon Energy to 6,800 feet three miles north of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 1.304 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak 6400.

Rusk County

On an open choke the Betty Kinney Well No. 1 potentialed 20,000 cubic feet of gas. BRG Lone Star completed this well to 12,638 feet in the Ezim Field seven miles east of Reklaw. Production is in the Travis Peak.

Chinn Exploration completed the Byron Well No. 2 to 11,200 feet five miles west of Henderson in the East Henderson Field. The well potentialed 1.000 million cubic feet of gas on a 14/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

San Augustine County

Exco Operating completed the Red River 257 B Well No. 2H to 18,156 feet eight miles north of Chireno in the Carthage Field. On a 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 9.145 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Shelby County

Southwestern Energy completed the Harris B Well No. 1 H to 16,540 feet 13.8 miles southwest of Shelbyville in the Carthage Field. On a 17/64-inch choke the well potentialed 8.871 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Tarrant County

XTO Energy completed the Ole Gieser Unit Well No. D6H to 10,603 feet .4 miles north of Retta in the East Newark Field. On a 28/48-inch choke the well potentialed 1.984 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

EnCana Oil & Gas completed the Rocky Creek Ranch Well No. 14H, the Stagecoach Well No. 4H and the Stagecoach Well No. 5H in the East Newark Field.

  The No. 14H hit 9,685 feet 6.3 miles west of Crowley and potentialed 1.540 million cubic feet of gas on a 48/48-inch choke.

  The No. 4H hit 9,667 feet within the city limits of Benbrook and potentialed 1.350 million cubic feet of gas on a 24/64-inch choke.

  The No. 5H hit 9,360 feet within the city limits of Benbrook and potentialed 1.580 million cubic feet of gas on a 24/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Chesapeake Operating completed four new wells in the East Newark Field.

  The Mallick Unit Well No. 3H hit 13,404 feet .9 miles southwest of White Settlement and potentialed 2.666 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.

  The UPRR Well No. 1H hit 12,814 feet within the city limits of Grand Prairie and potentialed 2.698 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

  The Greenwood B Well No. 1H hit 11,63 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 3.574 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.

  The Stockyards Unit Well No. 1H hit 11,767 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 2.693 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Can you give me an update on these wells in San Augustine:

3.  Higginbotham

Jeri, there's nothing on Higginbotham except still waiting on completion. 

Which Blount McFaddin...? 1H is Haynesville and reported in January @ 7.30 MMcfd and 2H is James Lime but I haven't seen a report yet. You can find production using Devon's operator # (216378) under "pending".   Use the query link on the RRC "Help" Group.

Blue... reported last month @ 8.30 MMcfd but I haven't seen any production reported.
