...I can remember when the "old-timers" used to say...way back when...those darn motorized buggies were just a passin' fancy...more of a novelty type contraption, they all insisted, never gonna "catch on."  Never gonna see 200+ million of the darn things on what roads???  Highways ya say?  What's a "highway?"  Where ya'll gonna get the fuel?  Fillin' stations ya sayin????  Never head a such a thing...LOL

Maybe we can figure out a way to "kick Pakistan's #$%^**" on this one?  Wake up America!  Smell the Shale!

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
