Since the weekly reports don't seem to be coming out, I thought I'd print the Region 6 and Region 3 drilling permit listRegion%206%20page%201.pdf Region%206%20page%202.pdf

 

IMHO, of note is the proposed well in Red River County Hageman Energy's Deberry #3

Also note, three permits for Houston County - 2 new wells and 1 recompletion.

thanks for the list dbob. i was noticing my area of the gis map is littered with expired permits. any idea how long it takes for expired permits to fall off the map?

Unfortunately, I don't think the RRC ever drops the canceled permit sites from the map. Anyone else got a different answer?

 

No, I agree... they are enshrined forever.
Same with Sonris site in Louisiana.  Expired permits are still listed.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
