Does anyone have any knowledge of the Badders Family Well. I understand it has been drilled and is producing. It would be in the Chireno Survey, A-17. It was leased by EOG and I got this information from their land man. I have a small interest as a mineral owner and very new to this. Any information would be appreciated.

Donald, there are 160 members in the Nacogdoches County Group. And each of them gets an email alerting them to a new discussion in their group. http://www.gohaynesvilleshale.com/group/adubu
Thanks, As I said, I am very new to this and am just learning how the discussion groups work. Did I post this in the right place to get the most exposure and was I able to give enough information that anybody might be able to recognize it? I certainly do appreciate your help.
Your information is sufficient for those in the Nacogdoches Group. If one of them happens to log on and see your discussion on the Main Page, that may be enough. However posting in the Nacogdoches Group will guarantee that it is seen by the members most likely to know something and to respond. Use the link above, join the Nacogdoches Group and post your question there. You will also see all the recent discussions concerning Nacogdoches County which may be of help. Newbies need to do some homework to get the full benefit of GHS. Good Luck.
Thanks again.
Donald, click on the link above posted by Skip Peel and it will take you to the Nacogdoches County group page. I am certain you will get an answer there. Just start a discussion and re-post the question or ask it on the comment wall.
The reason for posting in the county group is that the discussion will age off of the main page (as other discussions are posted) if nobody replies and the good folks in Nac. Co. may never see it. When you post to the county, it will be there whenever they get around to checking in.
Gteat, I will do that now. I had been told that you guys were extremely helpful. Thanks so much.
Donald, you should be getting your Division Orders in the next couple of weeks. EOG has finished their title work and it was sent to the Division Order group at the end of December. You may get a check prior to DO, since this well has been producing since July.
Nick
Nick, that is good news. How can I find out information about the well and the production numbers. I guess this is all on RRC but I have on idea how to obtain the data. Would I be able to find it with only the information that it is the Batters Family Well?
I just talked to EOG and they should have the DO mailed out next week, so keep your fingers crossed.
Nick, you were so right. I did receive a check last week and still have not received a DO. I was surprised, the well evidently has been producing since May, the check covered the period of May through Nov. A new experence for me, the first royalty check I have ever received.
Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
