This cotton valley IP looks great. It's a shame to have this kind of success at a time when prices are so low. serial #243493

has anyone noticed if Encana is drilling into the Cotton Valley in Desoto? I think most of the Indigo wells are going on Chesapeake leases. HOPEFULLY Encana will drill their shallower plays in north Desoto areas
kcmama,
Read on "seekingalpha" site...Encana's 4th Quarter 2011 Conference Call Reporting. Very nice presentation I thought. Encana is looking toward liquids and turning their eyes away/shutting in dry gas, for now anyway. If this well produces liquids and nat gas as shown... Encana says it wants the liquids. Hopefully Encana will do as you suggest and capture both in the HS region.
Any Cotton Valley activity in Lincoln or Claiborne?
In Lincoln. Wildhorse and Indigo.
2000 BWD is that frac fluid or is that formation water? Does the water dry up?
Probably still cleaning up from the completion operations. However CV does produce a good bit of formation water in comparison to the HA.
If anyone is interested, Indigo just posted some updated slides on their website about the economics of a typical CV well for them as well as their land position...
