Are the smaller operating companies that subcontract/sublet/sublease from bigger major companies??
If an operator has a 640 acre unit, can he allow other companies to come in and set up within that unit?

Permalink Reply by Skip Peel - Mineral Consultant on May 30, 2012 at 12:05 Pinnacle Operating is a small, private O&G company. Not a subcontractor. Their connection to CHK is probably that they assigned the deep rights to their existing HBP leasehold for Haynesville/Bossier development.

ECA and HK assigned some of their shallow rights to Sklar.
