Lateral a
Quick lesson, a "lateral" is the horizontal portion of a well. Therefore, if it has a lat, it's a horz well. The two types in this area is either horz or vertical.

You're right, and the lateral for the Doles well will be about twice as long as the one for the BML well. It will be interesting to see if such a long lateral will present technical problems, but I certainly hope not. Go SWN!

Yes they were, but the unexpected oil kick ruined the plan and they decided to cut the lateral short.
I don't know for sure, but I would assume since they are saying they want a 9,000+ft lateral.
