Rob, if your ownership in land/minerals is evidenced by an instrument (deed, donation, succession/judgement of possession, etc.) recorded in the public records of Bossier Parish any interested company will find you.  It is better not to contact leasing companies as that usually ensures a low ball offer.  Generally it's better to wait to be approached.  The land company that offered leases in your area was J B Land Services.  They ceased to record leases in Bossier Parish early last summer with the exception of a single memo of lease filed last October.  I suggest that you join the Bossier Parish Group and read the discussions from that period of time regarding leasing and J B Land.  Use this link:

Thanks, Skip. JB Land actually mis-identified our property. It is in Caddo Parrish, not Bossier. I found a North Caddo discussion and will continue there. I appreciate the help! Rob
