As we wind down this year, It's time to look back and reflect on everything we have been through. Me and my family have our health, my daughter got married and now I have a wonderful son-in-law. My business is growing(in spite of the recession) and I have all of my newfound friends here and in my community h-shale group which have enriched my life immensly. On top of all of this I have my faith that next year will be better than this one and that our best days are ahead of us still. What do each of you have to be thankful for? Let's share our experiences and give all of us something to think about.

I'm very thankful for the health and happiness of my family. For having a job that can support my family and of course being able to meet and make new friends in the GHS family.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
