I thought the attached G-1 and G-5 would be interesting to some folks.  G-1 has the completion information - looks like acid fracs and therfore the target is the limestone formations.

24 hour production is 479 bbl of 42.8 API gravity condensate or oil.  1179 bbls of water with that.  Note this is a vertical completion across multiple, thick zones.

Maybe I need to get Joe Aldrige to look at this, but it looks more like what he describes as TMS rather than Eagle Ford Shale.  Any other thoughts?

snoopy,

imo, one's just gotta think well of any outfit that'd name their prospects after 'fab four' albums/songs.

respectfully,

p.s. your aerial photos are pretty cool. what do you fly?

My fun flying is in a 1946 Aeronca 7AC Champ, with 85 hp C85-8 (no electrical) that requires hand propping to start. I slide open my left window to take aerial photos. I have over 2,500 pipeline and well-site photos taken in Trinity & Houston counties.

outstanding. flying as it should be.

a good friend's mom (sadly, now gone for decades) who with her fellow, flying girl friends (all rich/wild ranch girls from stx) flew around/before the start of wwii told me once that back then she always navigated: ifr.

my response was: ???

ifr = i fly roads

Thanks for the time, effort, and cost of obtaining these great photos.
Did you happen to see any activity at Devon's Louis Cook #2? (South end of Houston County airport runway)
And about an hour ago you posted an great photo of a fracking job in progress. Do you know which well it is or it's location?
There have been 24 new drill permits since March. Mainly SEM and Treadstone. Both companies have 2 rigs apiece drilling for them now. All activity mainly southwest Houston Co.

Anyone have a link to current rig locations in Houston County?

Attached is rig data excerpt for Houston Co from June 13th report

Thanks rock man. So many permits it's hard to know where the drilling is really happening.
Scan Spirit is also drilling for Sequiture on the Jones#1, but doesn't show up on rig data for some reason. Scan Glory is rigging up today on new location Hanley#3.
