Since GDP's June 2 update I have wondered about the CMR/Foster Creek 24-13H.
HOUSTON, June 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --The Company is currently drilling the SLC, Inc. 81H-1 (66.7% WI) well in West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana, the Bates 25-24H-1 (97.6% WI) and the Denkmann 33-28H-2 (75% WI) wells in Amite County, Mississippi and the CMR-Foster Creek 24-13H-1 (84.7% WI) well in Wilkinson County, Mississippi. The Company is temporarily running four rigs as it is in the process of swapping out the oldest rig for a newer, more technologically advanced rig, with plans to go to as many as five rigs by the end of the year pending continued success.
Nabors Drilling Rig 624 shows up in the 6/27 report with a spud date of 5/30 and currently Drilling Ahead 29 days @ 11367'. The report contains the note: Prematurely Released.

Is this unusual or what could be the case that the depth has not changed in 3-4 weeks?
You'll never see mechanical issues referenced in a weekly rig report. There are a number of reasons for low ROP numbers or sequential reports at or around the same depth. That kind of detail is only provided in corporate presentations and press releases, if then.
