That one was just approved on the 15th. It is permitted both vertical & horizontal and has a note on the vertical section: The vertical, exploratory pilot hole in Wildcat Field will not be completed or produced. The system still required terminus and POP data for Wildcat Field so the SL information was re-entered. The full name of the nearest town is Kildare Junction.
It is also permitted for the McLeod, North (CV) at the same depth so they expect to land the lateral in the CV.
W-1 has a plat for each profile.

Permalink Reply by Caddo Rat on August 30, 2014 at 4:16 What is the geology on this? I assume the old Rodessa field and looking for what Stroud found North of McLeod with the Arkla-Blackstone. I heard it was down to about 100 barrels a day but was producing a lot of water.
Scandrill Endeavor was rigging up on Friday. Spud scheduled for Saturday.

Permalink Reply by Skip Peel - Mineral Consultant on November 15, 2014 at 14:27 You're welcome. It's neither good nor bad. We'll have to wait for the well to be completed before we can judge the result.
does anyone know if this well has turned horzintel yet
They have not turned in a drilling depth on the weekly reports so it's impossible to say. This one was permitted vertical/horizontal so they probably are looking at whatever science data they have gathered from the well to determine where to land the lateral (or if they even want to drill it).
i hear they have setcasing and are moving the rig off dont they bring anoutyer rig wheen they turn horzintal sometime

Permalink Reply by Skip Peel - Mineral Consultant on November 24, 2014 at 15:11 Waylon all I know is that the rig is no longer reporting from that well. Anything beyond that would be conjecture. Maybe Julie can provide you with more information.,

| AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More | Links |
