Good graph. It supports what I have been posting regarding increased HS permits and rigs. I expect that a gradual increase in drilling will continue but will remain limited to Core and Tier One rock for the foreseeable future.
Skip,
Would you please define and/or give an example of what is meant by Core or Tier One rock?
Thanks,
Steve
Haynesville Core areas have EURs (Estimated Ultimate Recoverable) of 8 BCF or greater per well. Tier One areas have EURs of 6 to 8 BCF. Tier Two - 4 to 6 BCF. Tier Three - less than 4 BCF.
Thanks Skip, is there a data map for that information?
There is now sufficient production history across the extent of the play to model EUR by specific well. Here is a link to a past discussion that has a copy of the original Petrohawk EUR Contour Map. I will upload a later map by BHP that has more detail. Click on both maps to better view them in their entirety. I have added township and range numbers to help identify specific areas.
