The First Annual Haynesville Shale BowlingTournament Series Championship

When and where will be determined by the number of teams and the availability of lanes.

A team will consist of two people.

Teams must be signed up not later than January 23rd to be entered. Once it is determined how many teams will bowl, a time and place will be set-up probably for January 31, at Holiday Lanes.

Each player will bowl three games a piece, which will be a total of six games for the team.
The total pin count for the six games that the team bowls will determine the winner.

The cost is $5.00 per game or $15 for a total of three games. The rental for shoes is $3.50 per pair. The cost per person to enter will be no more than $18.50 or a total of $37 per team.
All lanes must be prepaid to be reserved for January 31. If you are interested or need more information please feel free to send me a message. If you would like to mail your money to my house just ask me and I'll give you my address.

Work there and met my wife there.
I will have to bow out of the bowl off! I will be in New Orleans that weekend. (Sigh) I so looked forward to a throw down with you guys!!!
Very nice Cathaus, the old I'm going out of town trick.
I guess we will let you slide this time but you'd had better
be ready the next time.
If the date gets changed for some reason, I will be there, Big Boy!!
MY , MY , MY , Cathaus!
Oh what a tangled web we weave............

Hey DCH,
Have you heard from Jimbo, Rocko yet or is he going to New Orleans too ?
Nope, I have had these plans for a month now. Some Shale friends all of you are..................not changing the date to accomodate lil' ole' me and my sore backside!!!
No Sir. The last I heard, he was curled up in the fetal position hoping all this would go away.
Rosebud, you and Mr. Paul can just sit back like Ceasar did. You can cheer when they throw the weak bowlers to the lions.
I think that Tebbe's closed around the late 80's. It had something to do with tax problems. I think I hung out there for about 12 years. I remember one night we took a couple of bowling balls and stopped on top of the Shreveport Barksdale Bridge. Please forgive me, but yes, we did rolled them down the bridge. I can tell you this, bowling balls bounce like tennis balls when there going fast.
I'm sorry to report Jay there was. We did however make sure the coast was clear before our project began. I'll tell you how bad my friends were. When I worked at Tebbe's as a porter they would sneak bowling balls in the bathroom put them in the toilet, and yes use the bathroom on them knowing I had to clean them up.
Nice friends huh!
My ex-husband bowled there also many moons ago.
Hey Cathaus,
I say we move the date to accomodate you but that may be a difficult task considering the work that has gone into setting this thing up.Infomercials, Earl Anthony doing the play by play, Fox Sports South-East live coverage.....We will just have to see. If not, have a great time in N.O.I have never lost anything down there but to each his/her own. We will just have to catch up at the second annual tourney. That would actually give you more time to heal up anyway. Make it a fair contest and all.Being as the true contest is about sportsmanship and fair play..........Did I just say that ? Oh well. It sounded good in my head prior to me writing it down.
