Petrohawk was bought out by BHP Billiton about 2 years ago, so all of your Petrohawk emails will not be answered. Go to the BHP Billition web site and get the mailing address there, if you have not tried that.

Permalink Reply by Skip Peel - Mineral Consultant on March 26, 2015 at 7:54 If that doesn't work and if you come to Shreveport occasionally I can give you their Haynesville headquarters address. I've always wondered how they would handle a personal visit. LOL!

Permalink Reply by Skip Peel - Mineral Consultant on April 13, 2015 at 5:33 That's a direct number. When I called it I got a voice mail. Try this number, 682-2500. That should get you someone that can transfer you to the proper department.
Permalink Reply by Stephanie Wilson on April 13, 2015 at 5:45 Thanks Skip, I did actually speak to someone this time and she gave me the owner relations # in Houston. I am getting a busy signal there also. I am just wondering how important is it that I get a release. I seem to have spent a lot of time on this and feel like I am just spinning my wheels.

Include a copy of your lease and request that a Release of Lease be filed within 30 days. I don't think there's any great rush, just be persistent. Keep trying the owner relations number periodically and find out to whose attention the letter should go and their address. You might try calling at different times over several days.
I wonder in the tax filing deadline is causing the owners relations # and office to be extra busy.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
