You're welcome, Dave.  They will be interesting "step-out" wells to extend the NW corner of the MRD Terryville core area. The closest wells are the Daniels 17-8H #1 (19.9 MMCFD) and the Drewett 17-8H (11.664 MCFD). These will be the first multi-well grouping on this edge of the proven core area.  Good Luck.

Agree! And the Sanford 18-7 lateral extended into this area as well and had impressive results in gas and oil. I'm amazed and excited at how quickly MRD is accelerating their drilling program in the Terryville!

There is little risk in drilling the same core acreage over and over.  It's a good means to keep cash flow up and avoid adding debt in a period of low commodity prices.  When MRD gets "out on the edge" of their proven area, as these wells are, that's when it gets interesting.  As they mention repeatedly in their corporate presentations the CV/LCV in the Terryville Field is a conventional reservoir.  At some point there is an end to the petrophysical properties that make these outstanding wells.

How many CHK rigs does your rig info show in South Caddo?

Thorn Lake and Caspiana specifically.

As of last Friday the only CHK rig reporting from Caddo Parish was Nomac Drilling Rig #57 drilling the HA RB SUO;TIGRPLNT 36&1-15-12HC 1-ALT. with surface location in Section 36 - 15N - 12W.and Bottom Hole in Section 1 - 14N - 12W.  The well is in the Thorn Lake Field.

I am a little confused by one thing does your system show a rig on well serial number 248904.

I physically saw the rig but for some reason it is not showing up anywhere.

It is an Helmerich & Payne Rig

Rig reports do not use state assigned well serial numbers.  That serial number belongs to the CHK Ratz 19&30 - 15 - 11 HC.  The SONRIS well file shows a March 4 spud date but no rig has reported from that well on any weekly rig report from RigData looking back to early March.  Is a rig on that location currently?

Get the rig number.  And double check the well serial number on the location sign.
