There are no well permits with Section 5 as a surface location at this time.  That's not unusual as surface locations are often prepared in advance  of well permits being issued.

Thanks Skip.  Any recent lease offers in our area that you know of?

Haven't hear of any leasing in that immediate area.  Most of those sections have existing production so they are leased.

What town is this close to.

Between Scopena and Caplis.

Texas?

Louisiana.

What is the going price range for water access being paid by drilling / production companies?

From Hilcorp field operator ,  obtaining water from local farmer water well.

$1/bbl of water loaded on transport trucks.  May sound cheap but they drilling on farmers property ,  I guess all is relative!

Hope that helps MGB.....

$1/bbl is very high. Not the going rate in the field.

CG, if $1 is high, what is a fair pricing range for pumped water?

Priced at $.30 per barrel you may not sell much water!  My opinion is $.25 barrel is the going price.  At $1.00 per barrel you will sell zero H2O.
