Does anyone have any information on the wells being drilled in Section 12 and 13 around Ringgold in Bienville Parish? Was wondering how close they were to completion on the new wells and the refracing of 2 wells.
Just glad to see some new activity.

Sections 12 & 13 without a township and range leads to making some assumptions. I will assume that you are referring to the Bartolla wells in Township 15 North, Range 9 West as that is the closest to the Town of Ringgold. Aethon is currently also drilling a well in 1&12, 15N-10W. The two Bartolla wells drilled in Sections 12&13 - 15-9 are being completed (fracked) now. As of Wednesday the wells were reported in the process of fracking stages 27 of 156. Likely the wells will be complete sometime next week if there are no mechanical problems. There are three Bartolla wells permitted to drill Sections 1&12 but those wells have not yet been drilled. None of these wells are re-fracs.
Aethon has re-fracked the original unit well, HA RA SU72;CROSS CREEK 12.
Thanks, yes those are the wells I was referring to. I saw a while back they had applied for an additional 5 wells and was pleased to see they got permits for the additional 3. Any drilling in 12-15-9 or 1-15-9 thrills me as an owner. And was glad they reworked Cross Creek.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
