I received it. It came just in time. I needed to change the paper in the birdcage!
LOL.........Now that is funny, Love it.......LOL
I actually tore it up and threw it away.
Hey Cathaus, tell me again where you are? Just hoping you are some where around Plain Dealing. I am stuck up here hoping for something coming this way! The landmen aroung here skipped smooth over us and started knocking on doors in southern arkansas, not sure what that means.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I am in the Blanchard area.
Twin Cities, just last month, pulled their offer of 15,500/acre to the Dogwood HOA in Bossier Parish.
Maybe they leased enough to go ahead with their plans. Bet they will come back with a take it or leave it deal later.
Has anyone seen A Big White "X" next to a survey stake......what is it for?
Coonman,
Was the "X" in a paved road? Was is 3 or 4 feet tall?
If so, it could be a control point used to rectify aerial photos. If that is what they are, there would be others some where in the project area. Aerial photography is often used on large scale mapping projects because they show current improvements and contitions.
Smaller "X" 's are ofen painted on property corners or section corners, etc. that fall in paved areas.
Just some possibilities, I'm sure there could be others.
it was about a 6'x6' "x" about 5 feet of the road made of Plastic laying on the ground
Coonman,
I'm almost positive it was an aerial photo target. They sell the plastic ones just for that purpose.
That's where the treasure is hidden, man go get a shovel and start digging.

Just picking buddy, I think BirdDawg called it right.
