Unsolicited offers to buy royalties. Why are we receiving them?

During this time of DOOM and GLOOM, why are we receiving so many unsolicited offers to purchase royalties and/or mineral rights?

And what is the most useful thing to do with them?

Cathaus said she lined her bird cage with one. My son made a paper airplane. I tried to line the cat litter box with one but the smell made the box unbearable.

Any suggestions?

We should all do our part to recycle!

Yeah, think someone knows something we don't? I'm saving mine to burn when I can't afford heat. My cat wouldn't like me to line the litter pan with it. Maybe it keeps the post office in business. Timber is a replenishable source?
