Thanks for the IP numbers. Really good well. Perforated lateral length right at 7000'. We will need to see the 60 and 90 IP but the pressure on that choke setting is great. This bodes well for more development.
With that TVD depth and pressure the flow rate may be inflated a bit. The initial ftp on a shale well does not tell you much about the reservoir. I agree the several month decline, if any, will tell. The geology that will be revealed from the Deep Haynesville shoot should be interesting.
Don't know what to think about this Expand well, anyone please help

I believe this is a science well at this point. While Expand waits for the results of the Haynesville Deep 3D seismic results they appear to be testing the formation and generating information to inform where they turn the well horizontal. In other words, the right landing zone. I expect they will drill the horizontal without waiting on the seismic once they figure out the best landing zone.
Enverus still shows the rig on location. Not sure what that means. The Sonris report has not been updated from last week yet. I doubt that Expand would be paying standby charges unless they had no other plans for the rig.
No dry hole rig gone bottom hole temperature 430+
For members who would care to track the EGC 27&34-9-8 HC #1, use this link and write down the serial number. Links to SONRIS do not last forever.

Sounds like Smackover type temps.
Similar temps in the Bossier / Haynesville section in Western Fairway in Texas.
Are any of those Comstock wells productive at 430 degrees?
Yes. all in the 30+ MMCF per day IP range.
