there were three groups of people who went to baton rouge and spoke with the judge. he put a halt to the force pooling for the next sixty days while the state reviews the petitions that were signed by the landowners. for now it is a wait and see.

We received an Application notice today.S28 T15N R16W.We had already received a Pre Application notice on the 15th of this month.Does this mean that they are fixing to start drilling? They are moving fast aren't they? Does anyone know about this?

What is the status of the force pool application now? Is it a notice that you will be force pooled in Sec 28? I purchased a house that includes mineral rights in Sec 28, I was wondering what is going on down there. It looks like on the Sonris site, that there was a permitted well that expired due to time, but Chesapeake has put in a new application. There is a well pad that is visable east of Winding Way between Beech Nut and White Oak Drive. Do you think I should contact Chesapeake about leasing at this point, or ride it out. Is anyone else leasing out there? One other person I know signed with Columbia Petroleum, but I never heard of them drilling a well. Any insight you or anyone else has would be appreciated.

I have actually received two notices about this. I live in section 26 in the Southern Ridge subdivision. I don't quite understand everything the notice says but I have signed a lease with Fortress Mgt. as my representative and got a VERY good deal.

My wife and I also live in the Southern Ridge subdivision in section 26. We have been dealing with a group and as of yet it has gotten us no where.
