It is all baloney!! The gas companies ARE still leasing in our area. DO NOT listen to any of the nonsense. They (the landmen and others) are trying to break up our coalition. Don't let them tear us apart. STAY STRONG! We are almost there!

Yes....the gas companies still want to lease BUT at fire sale prices. I received a call this week from Samson offering 1000.00 per acre. Of course my answer was no. I told them I would rather wait it out and get 100% royalties after expenses of drilling, processing, transportation, etc. Two days after that phone call I received a letter in the mail from Liskow & Lewis Law Office. Samson is going to the Commissioner of Conservation and asking for forced pooling, about 12 sections including mine in the Haughton area. Bonus offers are gone and forced pooling is in these days. More money for me in the long term.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
