ANR is proposing to build a new 175-mile 42" gas pipeline from Carthage to the Delhi area. Planned capacity is 1.8 Bcfd and the project is targeted for completion by Fall 2012. The route will parallel the recently completed Centerpoint & Gulf South 42" pipelines and Energy Transfer's proposed 42" Tiger Pipeline. The following link provides access to additional information:

Thanks very much Les B, I think this is the chess piece I was looking for; not an expansion of existing plants but two compressor stations added along this route and the phrase "this would open up more export opportunities"; more infrastructure in place. I bet Carthage is going to look like a spaghetti bowl!
Does anyone know far apart these lines are going to be? I thought the Energy Transfer line was going to parallel that Gulf South line completed in '06 (I think). I worked on the timber appraisals for the Gulf South line, the ROW was 125'--75' and 50' temporary work space. That's going to cut quite a swath through that area. It doesn't really hurt grazing land but there could be some very unhappy timberland owners!
yes this is one unhappy timber owner. i was asked for a survey for the tiger pipeline and told it would not impact my property very much the centerpoint was south of my property so i agrred after hiring an attorney now i've been told the route is changed and its coming down my property. in addition to an access road now another pipeline is projected to run parallel to it . great! i have a twenty acre tract, no mineral lease. can"t wait to see what else they want to do with my property.
Kim, Is your attorney expensive? I'm taking a look at a ROW directing crew in Shreveport. I'm weighing both sides with attorney (mucho$$$$$) or ROW Directors (less$$) They say that they work with attorneys to ensure all legalities are in line and save money along the way charging a fraction of what attorneys charge and in a speedy manner.
hi angie, i
angie, i"m very pleased with my attorney and would highly recommend people retaining legal assistance when dealing with this it appears to me basically they trying to overtake all my property
angie my attorney is very reasonable if you like answer back and i'll give you my cell phone number and I'll giveyou an idea of what your looking at.
Kim, I deleted the word "closely" from my original posting since I do not know the distance from the exisiting pipelines. I didn't mean to imply it would necessarily cross your property or that it is certain the ANR lateral will be built.
hi les B well in addition the the anr pipeline theres another on on tap to run parallel to the tiger called the haynesville lateral extension or something like that .
i'm sorry i meant spectra expansion project running parallel to tiger anr and centerpoint pipeline east to west
Kim, I believe you are referring to the Texas Eastern P/L - East Texas Expansion. That project as proposed does not involve any new pipeline in your area.

Herefordshire, I do not know how close the new ANR will be to the Centerpoint 42" (completed 5/07) or Gulf South 42" (completed 1/08).
