Their starting to get out there.
Thanks Buck. You had to do some tedious searching to pull out the NG related proposals.
Much appreciated.
Sure do wish that significant tax credits would be offered to truck stops to install Fast Filling CNG pumps so that the big transport rigs could convert to CNG.
Thanks. Great news!
Buck,
for a person that started out posting old out-dated data, you are now the "Man" for the latest and most acccurate posting on this board.
Yes! Thank you Buck,

I have been dismayed at the lack of talk about CNG in either the debates or after the election. Despite everyone's stated desire to be off of foriegn oil there was little discussion about the one fuel that could do a big part of it soon. These numbers, while fairly small, are a start in the right direction.

thanks again,
By these numbers, a lot seems to be going to CA & OK, $80+ million to CA alone. I wonder whether local school boards qualify to apply to convert school buses or purchase new and install te filling stations?

Thanks buck - sesport :0)
Hot doggie, buck, sounds like a plan to me! Okay, we know how to do the work around to get buses converted using the tax credit. Now, can local school boards qualify for stimulus money, like the city, to purchase new buses? And what about the refill stations? I'm sure if we both go digging, we'll find something.

Also, can you give me a link to the article source? I may be able to get it passed along, with credit to you of course, to someone working on these things.

Thanks & best to you - sesport :0)
JK - Show me the money. lol Last I read, Bobby J. isn't asking for any stimulus money for ed. and he's cut the state budget. I got disgusted ( dis'ed again, darn) and haven't been keeping up. Perhaps he's changed his mind? Maybe we should just partner up with the city & use the underused mass transit as school transportation? That's how we rode to school in VA.
