Why is so little happening in this area? We have interests in Sections 2, 3, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, and 24.

Are you under lease?
yes, we are leased. We were originally leased by Encana and then sold to Petrohawk.
Not sure. Chesapeake has drilled a well in our section, 27-12-11, and we are currently in negotiations to lay a pipeline that will connect our well and the well in 35-12-11. The lignite mines may be holding things up a little, but I am not certain. The landman we spoke to said that our pipeline may only take a month to build, but it may be an additional few months before we are able to go online due to negotiations with the lignite people. Our pipeline negotiations should have actually been completed months ago, but the landman we were dealing with then dropped the ball for some reason.
thank you for your response. I am not aware of any lignite mining in in our immediate area though as an out-of-towner, I am hardly up on what is going on around us.
