The following new well permit in Sabine Parish was listed in the 2/15/09 issue of the Shreveport Times. I have not been able to locate it in Sonris so no serial number is available. This location is the furtherest south of any proposed or drilled Haynesville Shale test in Louisiana.

The whole section except for 40 acres is IP land. R.H. Evans has 39 acres and a local Apache has 2 acres. Most of the section is under the lake. The section is in the Los Ormegas Grant so it doesn't show as an outlined section on Sonris.
Does anyone know how this well is doing, I've heard 20 million a day???????????
Terry, this well has only recently been completed and there has not been any reported test information. I will let you know if I see anything reported.
They are still working and people in the area say's the crew is easy to talk to but very hard to get any info. from.
I forgot to mention they are constructing a pipe line south across the lake to ebarb and then south towards the blue lake area . It would appear that this is a promising area.
i have several contacts in the area that are being offered $4000.00 per acre and 22% roy. pinacle is contacting them.
Which Pinnacle?
We sold pipe line right of way for a 8" gas line & 6" salt water line for the Forest well across NE 6-T7N-R13W. Both lines have been laid.
FYI - from Sonris - the well serial # is 239521. As of 9/2/09 they had filed paperwork to indicate that they were fracing the well. Testing and state allowable to come after that, and then production can start. I would be interested to see if Forest plans to place any restrictions on production due to the low price of natural gas.
Anyone hear of this well testing 10,000+ mcf and blowing out the pipeline?
George, i have heard from area people they really had the well choked, of course i don't know this for certain. I do think this well & location suprised.
Sonris is reporting turned to sales and waiting on State potential as of today. I wonder what the well will come in at?
