I guess we just have to go with our gut and hope for the best. A few prayers wont hurt either. I guess if its Gods will he will guide us to do the best thing for ourselves and our family.

Someone named "the brat" from Monroe posted the following on How much received and by whom discussion.

Have 160 ac in Sect 25 in Bossier Parish. Signed a deal with Petrohawk 2 weeks ago for 25k/ac for a two year lease

He stated that his property was in 25-17N-11W. That is just 3 miles from you.

Have you leased? I have been talking to chk, havnen't been able to get above 20/25. for 3year, 2 year option. They offerd to pay 22,500 for a five year.

I hear what Pal is saying, but based upon experience, going above the 25% barrier is unpalatable to most lessee/operators. Going to 30% would at best bring on a furious case of indigestion, if not cause them to walk away entirely.

Have you poked around the other lease terms, yet?
