I will try and not focus on WHO, but rather on WHAT.

This bill is a huge tax on the energy industry in general and will severely impact those in the non-public and non-greenie circles. It will cost tons of money on refined products and will make drilling more expensive. And it will have a much smaller impact on our overall ecological impact, whatever that might be.

So, it must fail! Call your Senators and ensure this bill goes down in flames. FAIL BABY FAIL!
Thanks, Mmmarkkk. My initial impression after reading another article is that this bill attempts to get us straight from carbon fuels to green/renewables with no stops inbetween. Not sure if this is accurate, though. I'm still looking for more info, as well as finishing the links to the reports & comments.

BTW, if it makes drilling more expensive, in your opinion, that's going to cut down on the grillin' some, too, isn't it? lol
