Natural Gas Prices  Remain at 10-Year Lows

On Tuesday, March 27, 2012 Natural gas futures ended the day to fall 1.8 cents to $2.21 per 1,000 cubic feet after dropping 5 cents on Monday, Mar. 26th.  Natural gas supplies are currently more than 50 percent above the five-year average for this time of year.

Jan. 12, 2012: Natural Gas Price Sinks Due To Oversupply And A Mild Winter Season; Below $3 Per 1,000 Cubic Feet

Huge Supplies & A Mild Winter Causes Natural Gas Prices To Drop on Jan. 12, 2012 To Near Historic Lows:

The price of natural gas for February delivery fell 8 cents to end at $2.6970 per 1,000 cubic feet on Jan. 12.  The price has fallen 13% this week alone due to a relatively mild winter weather cutting heating demand and huge supplies.  On Jan. 12, 2012, the Energy Information Administration said supplies are 13.4…

Natural Gas Futures Near $5.90 /Per Million British Thermal Units At Mid-December 2009

A 7 percent jump for natural gas futures occurs during energy trading on Dec. 17 as the Energy Information Administration reports a drop for U. S. natural gas supplies. During Dec. 17 morning trading, natural gas for January delivery was up 40 cents, or 7.3%, at $5.86 per million British thermal units. Cold weather in recent days over the northern part of the U. S. is partially responsible for this drop in natural gas supplies.

NYMEX HENRY HUB NATURAL GAS FUTURES: $4.63 Last Trade UP +0.238 (+5.42%) on November 16, 2009 in energy closing markets.

Consumer spending is beginning to improve. Retail sales during Oct. 2009 were pegged higher.

NW Natchitoches Parish Oil Leasing Activity Becomes Active Again in mid November 2009

Went by the Clerk of Court's office today (Nov. 16, 2009) for Natchitoches Parish, LA and oil leasing in the northwest part of the parish is showing an uptick. Their office has been busy as of late with oil & gas lease people.
