Has anybody out there actually received a royalty check as a "nonconsent" property owner? If so, please provide some details about the time frame from drilling to check and how the check amount compares to a signed owner.

What's a non-consent property owner?
I think he means an unleased mineral owner.
thanks, that's what i was thinking but since i don't know all the terms i asked. thanks
I don't know them either JHH.....  I was just guessing, but I'm sure someone smarter than me will set me straight if I'm wrong....... LOL.
Fred, you would not receive "royalty" without a lease agreement.  Carried working interest owners receive their share of well revenue less operating expenses after the operator recoups the cost of drilling and completing the well.
I think the question is still relevant. Has anyone out there who is an unleased or nonconsent property owner received any money as a result of a well being drilled in their section? Judging from the answers I have seen so far, I am assuming there are few persons with a check in their hands.

Yes, I'd like to know that too!!!....

Unless it is a really good well it may take years to payout if it ever does and when it pays out if it ever does you will get a check.  If the well has to be reworked for any reason that is added to payout.  Any work on the location, roads or equipment will add to payout.  Good luck.

Sounds like Terry works for an oil and gas company. A lot of the Haynesville wells have already paid for themselves.

Fred,

I'm confused... are you answering your initial question?

No, the oil companies have paid for their wells, but my question is whether there are individuals who are not leased who have received a check?
FXEF, can't see where fred is answering anything, just asking.
