I'm not sure if it's OK to discuss subjects like this in the general forum... so i apologize in advance if it's not OK.
What are your thoughts about EXCO. Our family has a few of their wells on our property and i own some EXCO stock. But it seems like the company is just wandering... lost its umph. Is EXCO just producing to survive or do you think it will become a big operator... or maybe sell out?
thanks

Exxon has habit of buying companies with X in their name.
You could say they have already sold out as Oaktree Capital, Wilbur Ross, Ares Capital, and a few others already own around 50% of the company. Naming a new CEO to replace the departed Miller, would help provide direction.
Wilbur Ross has been their staunchest supporter for a long time. He ended up buying a bunch more XCO stock at $5 with their recent rights offering.
