township 18n Range 14w section 3 also across the street from my horse farm is North Highlands subdivision. I am also 800' from the section line of section10. That section has no drill site. I have 53 achers and the only drill site in section 3. As far as piping of gas my farm backs up to 12 mile bayou and on old Dixie hwy there are 2 lines.
jonathan, I am unaware of any ongoing leasing in your specific area.  Section 10 is a Samson Contour Haynesville Drilling Unit approved on Jan. 13, 2009.  The fact that two years have passed and no wells have been permitted is strong indication that Samson will not drill your section.  The few wells to your south have been below average  or Plugged & Abandoned.  There is no current interest by any operator in Haynesville Shale this far north.  Some day in the future when nat gas prices are significantly higher, there may be interest.
Wow, Goldsberry wells by airport are good wells, and Crayton/Lite well by Samson did very good. we are right between them.
Neither the Goldco nor the Samson Contour wells that you refer to are Haynesville Shale wells.
bothwere strong cotton valley wells

When an operator is interested in drilling Cotton Valley wells in your vicinity, you will hear from them.  I am currently unaware of any interest in or leasing for any formation in your particular area.  The market for natural gas is over supplied and the price is depressed.  You may have to wait awhile.

I've got 13 months before I get my minerals back. I was in the group that signed before the Haynesville went public so I only got $130.00 per acher. 30 days after I had signed is when the Haynesville went public and people were talking about it.

Don't feel like the lone ranger! Same thing happened here except I only have 6 weeks or so before my lease's primary period expires...

I'm hoping they forget me..

NG will come back into vogue sooner or later as an alternate to high priced petroleum..

P.G. are you talking about your 3 yr lease expires or the two yr option behind the 3 yr lease expires.
I have 13 months left on my 2 yr option, Trust me if you only have 6 weeks till your option comes available for them to do. Start looking in the mail box. There renewing all options. So if this is the case you have 2 yrs and 6 weeks left with them.

Yes, I'm sweating that option!

But Like I said, I hope they forget about me...

How close was it to your primary period ending date did they pay you for that option?
