I live in west Shreveport, it seems that is a lot of activity in my area. I saw a list of permits listed on future sites:

Sec. 11 17N 15W   Permit Date  11/22/10

Sec.  19 17N 15W        "              12/15/10

Sec.  22 17N 15W                        12/29/10

Sec.  15 17N 15W                        12/30/10

Sec.  25 17N 15W                        11/19/10

I am in Sec. 14 17N 15W   Anyone have info??

They could probably drill sec 14 from sec 11 if they wanted, huh?
Sec. 14 is a Chesapeake Drilling Unit.  There is no way to know "how long".  You can look up the permit application on SONRIS Classic and see if it is a six month or a twelve month permit.  However the operator is not required to drill in that period of time.  It is not unusual for a permit to expire and for the operator to file for a new one.
