Are you inquiring about a specific well or the Elm Grove field in general?

I am kind of curious as to why you would only be inquiring as to one well and referencing a division order number in your search. Did you recently receive a new division order letter perhaps?
To answer your question, there are currently 4 other wells associated with Cotton Valley production in that unit (same strata as the well you asked about), as well as 5 wells (one active) for the Hosston and 8 wells in the Lower Cotton Valley. There are quite a few shut-ins in the unit as well. Total production from each of those strata in the vicinity of "your well" indicates a gentle but steady decline which appears typical of the area and given the age of the wells at play.
Not much has happened in your section as of late to bump up production. The last well drilled was completed about eight years ago. I haven't looked at all of the wells, but given current production, I would assume that virtually every one of them are tied to compressors.
Good luck with it.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
