Does anyone know what well this was?

 

First we've announced some of our 23 million to 28 million a day wells in the Haynesville prior to today, but we are ready to announce that in the Bossier, our first test down there came on 25.5 million a day and nearly 7,800 PSR. So great results down there, very exciting.

 

This sure would increase the value of the acreage in the area!

Where is this well?  Texas, Louisiana... what county/parish?  thanks

 

They stated it is part of the Shelby Trough. So my guess is San Augustine.  Sorry, I didn't paste that part.

I'm guessing Exco Resources was the Operator.  Is that correct?
SB, That is the impression I got.

With all of this NG we're finding I wonder how long until CNG takes off?

I know they like the Chireno area in San Augustine.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
