I am in N. Desoto Parish and the well on our loc is the Kelley Et. AL. 19-15-14 H1.  I have found out that the well has been in production since Jan of 08.  I have not received a royalty payment.  How do I find out production rates.  Talked to CHK and they stated that it had not missed a month of production and that 150 division orders had been issued.

Also have issue with my agt.  Can anyone point me in a direction to talk to someone?

Your first priority would be check the public record to see if it shows you as an owner of record.  Either you do not own the minerals, you do own the minerals and the public record is not complete/accurate or the well is drilling into a section other than the one where you own minerals.  Horizontal Haynesville wells often do.  Forget production for now, document your mineral ownership.

Mr. Parker,

I have a small acreage in 15n 14w sec 19 and the Kelly well pays royalties each month.  Have you ever signed a lease for your acreage in this section with anyone?

Yes , I signed in 2008.
Skip, I own, I got the paperwork from Desoto Parish.

You could begin by sending a demand letter to your lessee pursuant to La mineral code 31:137.  You may be due a large sum of money.

Ronny- thanks. I have 1.91 acres. How strong have the payouts been?
Ronny- also do you know if the have a 2nd well in thus sec? Ck said they don't.

Send a demand letter certified mail and include a copy of the legal instrument establishing your ownership and a copy of your lease.  Wait thirty days and make an appointment with and O&G attorney if you haven't received a response.

Thanks Skip. Is there any place to check production in the well?  The leasing co swears they haunt rec anything from chk ant that chk told them that back in 09 the well ran for 2 mos and then they shut it off. But yday chk customer abc tells me that it has not missed a month of production and @ 150 division orders have been issued.

Thanks skip. If you have time for a school lesson... That puts this well at a total of 2,335,964 MCF. The MCF what I don't understand. Does it run that decimal place out to the right on the number?
