I have 15 acres-undeveloped- S15 acres of W/2 of SE/4 of NE/4 of Sec 14-22-16. 221614-0-3. This is just north of Vivian. Is there any shale or other activity in the area?

There is some interest in the Annona Chalk and the Rodessa formation in the general area of Vivian. The Haynesville Shale exploration is south of Caddo Lake and east to the Red River. Welcome to GHS.
Permalink Reply by Robert Harrison on May 13, 2014 at 6:17 This property had two wells drilled on it in 1952. Apparently were not any good. Would like to have a reputable logger take a look at it. Also need to think about replanting. Would like to find someone interested in drilling.
