No, but trust me, my source is very credible.  Can anyone confirm that oil not water trucks were coming in/out of the location?  If the well was only flowing at 60 bbl/d there would not be a need for oil trucks for at least several months since there are multiple 2,000 bbl storage tanks on location.....

Eyes on the ground are very important - good point by Les. Eventually we will get some good production data, but until then, every hint and clue is important.

In Louisiana, the state schedules the initial 24-hour flow test (SDM2G) and tries to do so as soon as possible after the well is turned to sales.  If that particular field inspector is tied up, it could be as much as two weeks later.  We can compare the lag time when the SONRIS Well File enters that data.

Guards and barbed wire aren't much of a deterrent in the days of drones.  :-)

I have heard of instances in the Permian basin where landowners are shooting down drones over their property.

Claiming their private property goes straight up to the heavens!!

new legal precedents, I am sure!

Sounds like an arms race.  Just wait until the drones start shooting back.  No one is as single minded and determined as a "scout".  :-)  Of course a really good scout might just negotiate air space rights.

Actually that is a fact that in Texas one does own the airspace above his property but it is hard to defend, prove or enforce.  It holds true below your feet also.

Assuming that they are letting the well flow on its "power" with this move.

Surprised that they are not installing ESP's to move max fluid faster out of the wellbore. Like in Permian Basin.

So there won’t be a representative repot on Sonris this month

Thanks for the heads up, Bob.  The serial number blue link should go active a little later today to provide access to the permit and plat.

Yep, with an overlay for the surface location and well bore path.  There will be other info of interest to some such as the whether this is a 6 month or a 12 month permit.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
