FrackNation video - This should stir some controversy! An antidote to Gasland?

Excerpt from article, but do watch the video clip.

"There are two sides of every story and then there is the truth.

FrackNation is the film that will tell the truth about fracking.

People across the US told us that everything we had heard about fracking was wrong. They say that anti-fracking campaigns, one-sided media coverage and moratoriums and bans have damaged the lives of thousands of people who are now desperate to have their voices heard."

I don't know why the industry isn't jumping to support this - or else why are they still needing to raise $$$??

.

The industry should fund a bunch of these projects - and provide technical support to them also.  I don't know anything about this group.  Haynesville was a good film, but is not a direct response to Gasland.  A good response to Gasland is needed - and it needs to be a well made video(s)

Ann and Phelim are making this film.  They came up to Alaska and did an event for the Alaska Policy Forum about their last film, Mine Your Own Business.  They are GREAT!  Just who are needed to counter all the crap and lies out there about gas drilling and fracking.

Very simply put they have better things to do with their $$$money because they know the real power is in the State Legislators and not in the public til the next election...O&G/E&P are putting their money in the writing of "new, tough" regulations that will only require them to meet the same as those on foods and volunteerly and via FracFocus 60+days after the FrackFact with no enforcement...maybe if NG goes over $2.40 MMBtus then they may donate more to the film industry

They also know that they need more money for getting their LNGExport terminal approved as the Enviros are fighting/winning in Delaware and maybe able to fight in LA/TX, Oregon may still be in play but they can't fight an undeground storage facility YET....Alaska/Valdez may be better from the Japanese market and forget California - yeah there were 2-4 site but forget them.

Thanks for the link, David.

Just as a quick update: We have 7 days left to go in fundraising. We've raised more than $183,000 from 2,600+ contributors. We hoping a push in the last week will really give us the edge in fighting the upcoming Gasland 2 documentary.

Thanks for your support!
