Indigo Minerals plans Horizontal Cotton Valley in T15N, R15W, Section 24;Caddo Parish

I have been aware for a while that Indigo Minerals planned a Horozontal Cotton Valley test in T15N, R15W, Section 24.  Indigo Minerals acquired the rights above the Bossier/Haynesville (shallow rights) in a transaction with Chesapeake Energy.  Lets all hope the effort is successful and maybe we'll get a horizontal Cotton Valley play simultaneous with the Haynesville and Bossier.  The vertical Cotton Valey wells in the area of the planned Horizontal Cotton Valley have been mediocre at best, so this well test, when drilled, could be highly important.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
