I would attend.
Count me in.

I'd be more then happy to attend. Thanks Keith
By the way, there's a LOT of good stuff there, if you poke around at it. One particularly useful thing, for instance, is the topo maps.

Do we have an ongoing SONRIS hints and tricks thread here on the site somewhere?
After verifying with the LOC staffer who conducts the SONRIS classes, here are answers to some of our questions. The course is free. Though times vary, those wishing to attend should set aside an entire day. If I remember correctly the last class held in Baton Rouge began at 9:00 and ended at 3:00. The classes are held on weekdays.

Recognizing that some members will not be able to attend, I will ask Keith to make a decision on whether SONRIS deserves a stand-alone page or just a discussion topic. The staffer sent me the class materials and I will post them in the near future.
Oh, sure, pass on your used textbooks to us. There better be a steep discount for that, mister! Especially after you've been in the Cub studying with them. LOL

Could I just go to the Cub and you guys take notes for me. grin.
hmmmmm, potential "business" arrangement. For the mutual benefit of all parties. LOL!

Absolutely interested in learning the fine points and excited to be included! Wish they could do two evenings or a weekend to get those 6 hours, but even if it made taking off from work a necessity, I still think it'll be worthwhile. thanks for researching it for us.
You can count on me and a friend.
A Texas Railroad Commission website lesson would be helpful too!
Thanks,
jhh
