Rather than reducing the gas flow I believe going from 20 to a larger 80 choke size opening actually reduces the flow restriction thus resulting in increased production flow?
20/64" (0.3124 inch choke diameter) versus 80/64" (1.25 inch choke diameter-more flow)
Perhaps someone knowledgeable on this subject could offer a brief tutorial on choke sizing numbers.
It is my understanding that Sonris classification is that "80" means adjustable choke, not 80/64. I have confirmed that on several calls with CHK, not that CHK is a truthful source.
